My latest set of blood tests were a crashing disaster…now I wait to hear from my Doctor so we can figure out what the hell I’m going to do. Perhaps I can wrap the house in plastic and become the woman in a bubble. Mind you, can’t see my Gina being too keen on that…
Oh no! What a disappointment, Sue. You must be feeling very disheartened at this latest set-back. But knowing you as I do, you will not give up the battle, so hang in there, girlie! Those little blood cells are working hard to ‘re-group’!! Lots of love from us. xxxx
Thinking of you Sue. Good to hear Jill is there looking after you.
Lots of love Christine Doyle
Hi Sue
You do not know me but I have been reading your blog for about a year now, I have really enjoyed the read!
deb ( my wife ) and I have a house and land etc in a small village called Gorna Lipnitsa about 40km north of Veliko Turnovo, we have been getting out to Bg for our holidays over the last seven years.
Your story has been an insperation to me as I have been trying to get over to live and do what you are doing for some years now, but being in the prison service, (getting out of jail is just as difficult for those who work there ) and having kids at uni it has stumped me into living in the uk.
I am very sorry to hear of your plight but know you will get better soon.
Some years ago I had the same but opposite fault that you have, I had loads too many white blood cells, this lead to test after test, much sucking of doctors gums, and then some 2 years later without reason it normalised, bloody amazing?? pun intended!!
Take Care, keep writing
Gary Morton

Hey beautiful…remember me…Matty lake…I was your needy son:) Your blog is fantastic..I don’t know why it has taken me soooo long to discover it. Cliff (you met in perth at our tassie or bust drinks @ Kates house) and I lived in tassie for about 2 years ..then I went and worked on the tourist boats in Cairns FNQ. We lived up there for 5 years and then we moved back to tassie about 3 years ago and loving it. I have had loads of exhibitions over the years..the last was a solo in Cairns in 2009. I now work at the Queen Victoria Museum and art Gallery in Launceston installing exhibitions and doing conservation work on museum objects..and I love it!!! So we are just enjoying the tassie lifestyle and growing loads of veggies and making jam:) …very Martha stewart 🙂 X I see that you are not well. I hope everything will be allright…If I remember you sue…you are a tough old bird. It is fantastic that jillian is able to be at your side…it’s hard to find good help these days!!!:) Take care of yourself and I will be thinking of you.
Lots of love

Sending love and best wishes for your recovery, Sue. I continue to follow your journey, and keep those Yankee daughters posted. Vikki is in the depths of a Utah winter with her new 7 month old son, Jesse Lightnin but we did meet him as he was born here in Albany, like her other 2 boys. Donna is planning to relocate back to WA – and has a photographic exhibition in Freo at end of the month. Remember she had picked up a camera before a guitar.
Glad you have Jillian with you – family are so important. Pattie xxxx
